04-3 Fri. GLR Investments 360 Sprint Cars, American Stocks,Micro 600s,Wingless Sprints .......... 10th quickest out of 26.... 3rd placein the first heat....Running 11th, 3 laps into main... upside down... finished 20th......
04-17 Fri. GLR Investments 360 Sprint Cars, Wingless Sprint, American Stocks, 4-Bangers :
Results: SOM finished a very good weekend of racing. Friday April 17th. We raced at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville CA. SOM was 8th quickest out of 27 cars, then SOM finished first in the second heat and making the tranfer to the A main. Starting second row out side and running the botton of the track, SOM finished the night in 10th place.
Then Saturday April 18th, SOM headed north to Placerville speedway, Placerville CA. We Started out the night fighting the set up. Qualifing early was not a good thing on this night. The track was still a little greasy. We then started the 1st heat in the forth row. We need to finish in the top four spots, but ended up finishing in 7th place. This meant we were going to be in the last chance qualifier ("B" main). SOM Started the B main from the outside front row and checked out for the win and a tranfer to the "A"main event. SOM then startedi n the 6th row out side and finished 12th, which the track went dry slick all the way to the cushin.
